We teach children how to be careful when they are in traffic, when they ride a bike, when they are playing, but rarely when,or never, we teach them how to socialize, take a care, pet and enjoy with honest friends – dogs! As picture book is first child’s book that introduces him into the world of literature, and helps him understand the world around them, this illustrated fairy tale intended for children of lower grades of elementary school will contain less text, but also rich illustrations, and is essentially dealing with issues that will bring children closer to acceptable way to understand dogs, though they “speak” their dog language, and understand the smile that is often more sincere than humans. To teach them why we call them pets!

On the slopes of Kozara Mountain, near the ancient monastery of Moštanica, on June 9, a kinology working meeting of an international team of nature lovers, especially pet lovers, was held! During the pleasant all-day gathering, the web portal “THE DOG REPUBLIC” and the e-magazine with same name (as the portal) were promoted in a beautiful setting. At the same time, the first project, one of many, was announced, “THE DOG REPUBLIC”, An illustrated fairy tale about friendship: “My dog ​​friend”, intended for lower elementary school children with the motto: With true friendship, positive energy is always born. Socializing is a special friendship with enjoying tasting meals, home-made lunch and the sounds of music tracks and traditional instruments of Kozara and Knešpolje…
